What happens when you walk into a hot store? You want to leave as soon as possible. Right? Comfort is so important to the customer experience but we usually don’t pay attention until it’s too late.

HVAC systems are a critical for retail stores. Unexpected heating and air-conditioning breakdowns result in downtime, customer and employee discomfort, and loss in sales.

Aging HVAC equipment runs inefficiently and breaks down at the most inopportune time. This leads to unbudgeted replacements or expensive repairs. Taking a proactive approach of replacing of old, worn-out or underperforming equipment with new, energy-efficient HVAC equipment will help maximize savings, minimize hassles, and keep the cash register ringing.

Improvements in new HVAC systems let you cut monthly costs and reduce environmental impact. Replacing air-conditioning equipment that have been in operation for 10 years can save 20% to 50% on energy and maintenance costs. That’s really something to look at. Planned replacements improve a store’s bottom line through energy efficiency and customer comfort.

HVAC systems are one of the largest sources of energy consumption in retail stores. According to data from the Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star program, heating and cooling systems make up approximately 38% of a building’s energy usage, and retail companies spend nearly $20 billion on energy annually.
